GoThinkBig is bringing its industry insight event for young people to Glasgow on 26th June 2014. It's free to attend, we expect to welcome at least 250 people to join us at the event, running in partnership with Young Scot.

You can apply for your free ticket here: http://www.gothinkbig.co.uk/opportunities/gothinkbig-glasgow-session-26th-june-2014

The event focuses on linking the areas you're passionate about to professions you're interested in. At the Glasgow session we’ll be focusing on:

  • Entertainment
  • Sports
  • Arts and Culture
  • Enterprise

We’re working on getting some great speakers together to make the event a real success – so far we've got people from BBC Scotland, Scottish Youth Theater and Scottish Student Sport. All of whom will be sharing insights into their careers and roles across our “passion points”.

The GoThinkBig Sessions consist of:

  • A panel session where experts explain more about their industries and what they want to see from new talent.
  • Breakout sessions where attendees will go to two sessions on their industries of choice and get more detailed information and advice about careers in that sector.
  • Networking opportunities with other young people to swap ideas about careers, insight into development opportunities and build up a support network.

The event will be held at Cineworld, 7 Renfrew Street, Glasgow – right in the center of town it’s easy to find and will provide a fantastic space for young people to explore their career opportunities.
