Engagelive is an award winning educational platform used to provide a secure environment for students of all ages to practice strategies that they will need in the community. Engage Development is a not-for-profit company working internationally with a wide range of government and local authorities, statutory and voluntary organisations. Digital engagement is one of our main focuses this year so we naturally jumped at the chance to help more young people using this technology.

Engage is currently running in our Leeds site with some great results. On Safer Internet day (5th of February) with the help of Robert Brogan, Andrew Haigh and James Moon from Glasgow, Leeds ran a very successful session. They had 342 students over 9 schools in 2 hour long periods.  During these sessions they answered 1237 questions fielded by the school around a scenario to help prevent cyber bullying.

We are looking to expand the number of advisers in Glasgow who are able to get involved with the project. Ultimately we'd like to run our own sessions on site in the near future. Watch this space for the latest updates and information!!
