Regular readers of this blog will have heard of O2 Think Big School, the programme for young people aged 14-16 years. Think Big School is an interactive and structured day for young people to gain business readiness skills and a hands-on chance to learn about digital technology and how to generate their own business idea. We want Glasgow to be the 1st site to give the opportunity to sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews etc of O2 Skypark employees.
The day itself runs from 09:30 till around 16:00 and is centred on group ideas and bringing alive skills ranging from problem solving, team work and creative thinking. Groups are encouraged to produce fresh ideas and apply a digital solution that inevitably solves a particular problem in their lives. Furthermore young people will also have the opportunity to interact and pose questions to Telefonica (O2) employees who will be part of the event.
