On the 18th of April our team visited Kings Park Secondary School to run a workshop on Numeracy in the workplace. The workshop was set up in a carousel style where we spoke to a total of 80 pupils in 10 groups. We discussed a range of subjects including math, numbers in forms of statistics, targets, wages, bills, sales stock, customers, media and information collating for advertising. The children seemed greatly interested and gave some excellent feedback and hope to use their new found skills when applying for jobs in the future. We hope the day proved useful and look forward to our next workshop at St Pauls High School on the 14th May.
